Imposter: someone said "Tuesday" for pizza and instantly outed the one friend who never got the word

Five of us have a standing Thursday game night and somehow every single week ends with us ordering pizza, so it's basically a running joke at this point. We were playing Imposter on one phone, passing it around under the table, and the secret word that round happened to be, of all things, "pizza."

Everyone gave their clue out loud. Normal stuff, "cheese," "delivery," "slice," "crust." Then my friend who always orders the same large pepperoni every single Tuesday, no matter what, said, completely deadpan, "Tuesday." Nobody outside our group would have connected that dot in a million years, but every one of us at that table burst out laughing at the exact same second, because we all instantly knew what he meant.

The thing is, that clue only makes sense if you already know the word is pizza, since "Tuesday" has nothing to do with any other word in the pack. Except one person at the table looked completely lost by the reaction, glancing around like she'd missed the joke entirely, because she genuinely had no idea what the word even was. That confusion lasted maybe two seconds before four heads swiveled toward her at once.

We voted her out before the round even properly finished, she laughed and admitted she'd been bluffing off "cheese" and "crust" with no real idea what either of us meant by them, and she guessed "pasta" for her comeback, which was somehow both wrong and extremely on brand for how the whole round had gone. We still bring up "Tuesday" as a clue whenever anyone gives something too specific to a shared inside joke instead of the actual word.

It's become our group's favorite way to accidentally catch an imposter, and now everyone tries to sneak in an inside-joke clue on purpose just to see who laughs along and who panics.
